Sandblasting is a safe and effective abrasion technique that uses a combination of two simple elements – sand and compressed air – to carry out the abrasion process. The main advantage is that every part of the surface is reached, including corners, edges and grooves. Another benefit is that the resulting surface is far more even and homogenous: the perfect starting point for painting and welding processes.

Officine Pollastri’s sandblasting department has a static shotblasting machine of 2200×1500 mm with capacity of 500 kg and a belt shotblasting machine with length 750 mm, diameter 700 mm and load capacity of up to 200 kg.
